A new information system has been set up in the Lanfranco da Albengo Public Library, enabling curators to leave ‘Sound Traces’ inside and on the garden of the library.

SilenceTags and QrCodes have been placed in both the outdoor and indoor areas of the library.
Thanks to the ‘Sound Library’ APP, a voice will tell new stories and suggestions to stimulate reading as the mobile phone is brought close to the SilenceTags. This way the books get a voice and become an active part of the library visit.

The stories told through the ‘Biblioteca Sonora’ APP can be constantly renewed by the library’s curators via the ‘Biblioteca Sonora’ backend platform, which enables new audio and video content to be autonomously published within the APP.
